Meet Kalim - 2021 ClemsonLIFE Grant Recipient

Meet Kalim! He is the amazing recipient of the first (of many!) Cooper Royall Grant-in-Aid Scholarship for ClemsonLIFE!

Kalim is a student in the AP ClemsonLIFE program, where he has “the opportunity to have a college experience and work on my social and emotional skills. Having an opportunity to live away from home makes me feel a sense of independence and it’s a great accomplishment.”

We heard all about his job; he works at a local pharmacy five days a week. He lives off campus in an apartment with two other buddies in the program. He told us all about how he Ubers around town or walks to campus to classes and for meetings.

Because of your generosity, he is able to be a ClemsonLIFE student. It was beyond amazing to meet him at the LIFE tailgate this past weekend.

Kalim, we are so lucky to know you and can’t wait to watch as your journey unfolds!
